Generally, we can say Religion and philosophy are one and the same. Religion and philosophy are interrelated. Religion is a set of principles, morals, ethics, and rules set up to lead one's life. Philosophy is a discipline which deals with life, metaphysics, knowledge, and the ultimate truth. Both religion and philosophy have their own similarities and differences.

But of course, some religion completely different from philosophy it may take up to Buddhism as example because Buddha teaching only refer to practice by oneself to achieve his or her own goal. It is clean what I want to mention briefly about regardless of Theravada Buddhism.

As much I understood these two majors of religion and philosophy it is I have to talk both similarities difference to make more clear myself and others. Let me explain about similarities between then. There are Similarities between religion and philosophy is that they both deal with human life, human mind, its existence in the universe, the meaning of life, the ultimate truth, and so on.

Both religion and philosophy are one and the same and we just call them by different names. Discussed in both religion and philosophy tend to be very much alike. Both religion and philosophy wrestle with problems like. What is good? What does it mean to live a good life? What is the nature of reality? Why we are here and what should we be doing? How should we treat each other? What is really most important in life?

On the other hand, what I have thought another ideal similarity between religion and philosophy. It may be exactly the same that is thinking and imagination because some religions talk about unacceptable theory without any evidence to show others but seeing blind dream that not coming truth up for humankind that  I thinks some religion talk about God but even who say so they didn’t even seen how God exactly look like why he bring only without showing by himself why only massager known him why people believe him without ever seeing just one time or even from heard from generation to generation that is I call massager speech religions only. A massager who are very intelligent person who want control society by himself that is why he create a God to give massage others that is good imagination to influence others  that  see blind belief but I don’t say and blame or criticize others realigns what I talk above action similarity with philosophy with religions what  look like. 

Secondly, the major of differences between religion and philosophy is the need for rituals. While almost all the religions in the world have certain set of rituals which are to be followed by the followers of the respective religions, philosophy does not have any sort of rituals, as it is only a way of thinking and both of them difference are the fact that philosophy tends to emphasize just the use of reason and critical thinking whereas religions may make use of reason, but at the very least they also rely on faith, or even use faith to the exclusion of reason.

Another difference between religion and philosophy is the concept of belief. While almost all the philosophies do not accept the concept of belief, religion tends to bring in the belief angle quite a few times.

The fact that religion and philosophy are distinct does not mean that they are entirely separate. Because they both address many of the same issues, it isn’t uncommon for a person to be engaged in both religion and philosophy simultaneously. They may refer to their activity with only one term and their choice of which term to use may reveal quite a lot about their individual perspective on life; nevertheless, it is important to keep their distinctness in mind when considering them.

But we need to compare between religion and philosophy from many part of views some say that there are a few similarities and differences between religion and philosophy. One needs to look beyond the surface meaning of both religion and philosophy to understand what they actually imply and how it is useful for one's life. It is exactly correct ideas but it may not be wrong that people say most of views very similar between religion and philosophy. However we have to look at what religion act look like philosophy basic on their teaching. Thus I have above explanation is taking different between religion and philosophy.
